Recently Marvel posted up two teaser trailers for the latest instalment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and also the start of the Marvel/ Sony shared universe. The reason I say the words shared universe as both Marvel and Sony share the rights to the character. All previous Spider-Man movies have been done just by Sony, when the "Amazing Spider-Man 2" hit theatres back in 2014 it did not go well with audiences. Shamefully Son had plans to do a third instalment and a possible spin- off they had to delay those plans due to the films failure. In 2015 it was announced that Spider-Man would go back to Marvel. In 2016, Spider-Man was introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the biggest Marvel ever to be released. It was called Captain America: Civil War.
Anyway that's enough Spider history for one day, the trailer starts with a view of New York at night, it then cuts to a futuristic laser type weapon used in what looks like a robbery. We then see that the robbers are wearing masks of the Avengers. Who do we see behind them? Why your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man. He then mocks the robbers for not being the "real Avengers". They start to attack but Spider-Man beats them to it with his quick reflexes, the scene finishes with Spider-Man saying "That was awesome." It then cuts to Peter Parker's school life and also a scene where Peter and his friend start to eye a girl, humorously they start talking about her clothes. Once that finishes we then see Zumaya's character who is apparently called Michelle. This is not the only famous person within the film Robert Downey JR reprises his role as Tony Stark and of course Michael Keaton returns to superhero movies as the main antagonist the Vulture.
The Vulture's costume looks pretty interesting compared to his comic book counter part. The trailer ends with Spider-Man saving people from what looks like a cruise-ship, there is also a small clip of both Spider-Man and Iron Man flying through New York. That's enough description what did I think of the trailer. I thought it was looked amazing, I can not wait to explore more into this version of the character and how he will fit into the MCU. With a rumoured Spider-verse on the way I personally cannot wait to see more movies with Tom Holland as everyone's favourite teenage superhero.
