The Terminator review

This is one of Arnold Schwarzenegger's most earliest films and one of his famous roles. The story is about a nuclear war that, later turns into a war against robots. It is the year 2029 Cyberdyne industries creates a computer programme called Skynet. The Terminator (Schwarzenegger) is sent back to the year 1984 to hunt down a woman named Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). According to a phone book there are 3 people named Sarah Connor. He is also followed by a person protecting her by her future sons orders. The Terminator crosses two people his list named Sarah Conner and eventually, finds the right one in a nightclub called Technoir and is stopped by Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn).

Kyle is later known as Jon Connor's father so, that means he is related to Sarah Connor. The effects were good in its day but, it is nothing compared to the computer generated effects today. The chase scenes are amazing and, is probably one of the most famous elements of the film. The robot skeleton was disappointing for me but, it is the best thing they could do in those days. The ending of the film didn't really lead to the sequel Judgement day but, the mountains in the background make it look like there is a storm coming.

Like the idea of the future of planet of the apes, the idea of a war against robots is very possible. robots are now improving so, this is a possibility. Also as there is Terminator Genisys coming out (this is how it is spelt watch the teaser trailer) next year. You might as well do a review on the original good Terminator film. But, until this happens I will give this film a 9/10 which is a good mark compared to Rise of the Machines and Salvation.
