The Terminator review

This is one of Arnold Schwarzenegger's most earliest films and one of his famous roles. The story is about a nuclear war that, later turns into a war against robots. It is the year 2029 Cyberdyne industries creates a computer programme called Skynet. The Terminator (Schwarzenegger) is sent back to the year 1984 to hunt down a woman named Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). According to a phone book there are 3 people named Sarah Connor. He is also followed by a person protecting her by her future sons orders. The Terminator crosses two people his list named Sarah Conner and eventually, finds the right one in a nightclub called Technoir and is stopped by Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn).

Kyle is later known as Jon Connor's father so, that means he is related to Sarah Connor. The effects were good in its day but, it is nothing compared to the computer generated effects today. The chase scenes are amazing and, is probably one of the most famous elements of the film. The robot skeleton was disappointing for me but, it is the best thing they could do in those days. The ending of the film didn't really lead to the sequel Judgement day but, the mountains in the background make it look like there is a storm coming.

Like the idea of the future of planet of the apes, the idea of a war against robots is very possible. robots are now improving so, this is a possibility. Also as there is Terminator Genisys coming out (this is how it is spelt watch the teaser trailer) next year. You might as well do a review on the original good Terminator film. But, until this happens I will give this film a 9/10 which is a good mark compared to Rise of the Machines and Salvation.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly film review

This is one of Clint Eastwoods western films. It is Italian spaghetti western which, story is about three cowboys on a journey to find a missing cash box. Sounds boring but, this was also set at the time of the american Civil War so they can get delayed a bit in the film. There are 3 main characters well I'll be honest its actually 2 but 3 of them meat at the end. The Good nicknamed Blondie (Clint Eastwood), The Bad called Sentenza nicknamed Angel eyes (Lee Van Cleef) and the Ugly called Tuco played by the late Eli Wallach who died a few weeks back. (from when I posted this.)

As I said this is based around the time of the American Civil war so Blondie and Tuco get delayed a lot from the war which is going on until they reach the other side of the war zone and find the grave where the cash box is hidden. Blondie tricks Tuco with the name on the grave who is Arch Stanton then, Angle eyes comes and they all decide to have a gun fight till Angel eyes gets shot by Blondie and tells Tuco that the graves name was the unknown soldier beside Arch Stanton then Blondie hangs Tuco from a rope like they did at the first few minutes of the film and Tuco was almost going to die with no gold but then Blondie shoots the rope freeing Tuco with his shared gold and almost swears at him until the film ends. Overall i would, rate this film 8/10 because it was funny and interesting setting but it was getting quite boring at the war zone till they went to the grave.

see you soon

X-MEN Days of Future Past

This is the new instalment in the X-MEN series. The story is based upon time travel to stop Mystique from killing Trask, or known as the creator of the Sentinals the mutant killing robots to stop what is happening in the future. I would rate this film 9/10 which I think is reasonable because, it is one of the best in the X-MEN series so far but in the after credit scene they show Apocalypse the ancient mutant.

The Marvel films have been so good so far with, some of the most popular comic book names e.g. Captain America: The Winter Soldier. If anyone has not seen that film yet I won't spoil it for you. There are so many good films this year but, next year sounds even better with Avengers Age of Ultron and the Ant-Man project (which might not happen as the director Edgar Wright quit) and, also MARVELS Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D season 2 on the way as well with the Captain America Spin-off series Agent Carter. Now lets go back to the film shall we, the film was all set on Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) now, we have to wait two years for the next film X-MEN: Apocalypse.

As you can tell I am a huge Marvel fan as is most people I'm sure. Know we have to wait for Guardians of the Galaxy which is out in August or maybe July. I'm not quite sure? But any way I will keep this short and hope to get some comments. Bye (for now at least).
